I am new to Python, GAE, and Komodo. While I got the commands running with little problem I am still fuzzy on how to debug (e.g. set a breakpoint).

This is great, thanks! I didn’t know how to add other locations to the Komodo Intellisense.

A tip, if you’re using Mac OSX, google app engine is installed by default in /usr/local/google_appengine. You can’t navigate directly to /usr/local/ through the dialog box. You have to a symbolic link to a location you can navigate to, like so:

ln -s /usr/local/google_appengine ~/scripts/google_appengine

(this assumes you have a ~/scripts/ directory).

Thanks for the great startup guide, while i’m not new to Appengine / Python, I am new to developing on windows, and komodo edit is great so far on windows for me thanks to you :)

(i use a mac for development usually [with textmate])
