To do list
New to do list (5/4/2008):
- Put my friend feed on here somehow
- Put up the original logo
- Add a mobile/iphone profile
- Figure out how to post (inc. pictures) via email or mobile
- Fix the image links, especially from that plug in I used a while ago
- Make a page with 20 most recent comments and an RSS feed
Since my blog got hacked, I didn’t need to worry about the list of to do items below. So that’s one good thing.
1. Move pictures over from typepad
2. Substitute the links in the post bodies to point to relative links from typepad.com
3. Change the email notification to point to the new RSS link
4. Install the auto-email plug in
5. Install the captcha for comments
6. Change the template to something more stylish
7. Get the original logo up
8. Recreate the mobile version
9. Notify subscribers about the move
10. Verify the image links on each post and check for mistakes
11. Change the About this site and About plaguey posts to Wordpress pages
12. Add the links back in
13. Get shell access
14. Go through the draft posts and publish or delete them
15. Set up posting via email
16. Verify moblogging works
17. Get a summary of most recent messages on the home page
18. Make a 20 most recent comments page
19. Make a favicon.ico for the site
20. Add the books I’ve read list and update it
21. Update site on Google Sitemaps
22. Install Google Analytics code on the pages
23. Cancel Typepad account
24. Copy over the photo albums on Typepad
25. Install image posting plug in
26. Create the syndication links for myyahoo and igoogle
27. Redirect blogenough.com to www.blogenough.com
28. Set up permalinks that will allow Google to crawl it
29. Create a mobile version of Am I Blog Enough For You?
30. Create a subdomain mobile.blogenough.com that points to it.
31. Put webcam back up on blog.
